With flu season right around the corner, we are looking to add qualified Nurses to our network! This is an excellent opportunity to supplement your income! We are looking for Nurses who are interested in working as Independent Contractors on Per Diem basis administering flu shots and providing health screenings. As an independent contractor in the Summit Health network, we will contact you whenever we have an event scheduled in your area to see if you are interested in working at that event. If so, you’ll then be contacted by a staffing coordinator who will provide you with details for the event.  We will begin staffing our 2010 Flu Shot Clinics in August, and the flu clinic season will run from late September until December. Medication shall be administered in accordance with all federal and state laws and regulatory requirements The registered nurse shall instruct and supervise the applicable Company staffing and shall give written instructions regarding the home health service to be provided. If registered nurse delegates selected tasks to the applicable Company staff the RN shall determine the degree of supervision to provide, based upon evaluation of the patient’s condition, the education skill and training of the applicable Company staffing which the task(s) is delegated and the nature of the tasks and activities being delegated.  The RN shall delegate task(s) only to the applicable Company staff who meets the requirements as specified by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services or other authorized regulatory body, and who has demonstrated the knowledge skill and competency to perform the delegated task. The RN shall make supervisory visits to the patient’s home in accordance with the Agency’s policies and procedures.
