Details: The eCommerce Production Coordinator leads the effort of scheduling promotional and product content on belk.com.  As a member of the Production team, the Production Coordinator performs key duties associated with preparing and scheduling all promotional events and offers on belk.com, working with the Content team to ensure that the correct content is created to support these offers and ultimately testing all promotional content before it publishes live to belk.com. This position collaborates extensively with both the Web Merchant team to schedule promotional content and the Content team to ensure that this content is designed and executed correctly and to the Web Merchant specifications.  In addition, the Production Coordinator also supports the belk.com content scheduling needs of numerous other business groups, including Communications, Human Resources, Transportation, the Belk Foundation, and all other groups that utilize belk.com for posting or communicating messages.  While many functions are executed independently, a high degree of interaction, communications and collaboration is required each week to ensure that all teams are in sync, on target and reading from the same script.  Most critically in this regard, the Production Coordinator must plan and execute the weekly testing activities required to prepare the website for publish.  Lastly, the successful Production Coordinator must be focused on ensuring an excellent customer experience and providing exceptional customer service at all times. Role Responsibilities  Coordinate the efforts of a number of cross-functional teams to ensure that belk.com promotional and product content supports the current business calendar of events and promotions. Input Web Merchant weekly promotions calendar into a Production database used for the creation, tracking, testing and reporting of all promotional content on belk.com. Schedule all content elements utilizing a Content Scheduling system, preparing image links, assortment links, alt tags and tracking / reporting tags for all promotions. Create HTMLs, schedule them into content assortments and embed them with image and product links, alt tags and tracking tags.  Develop promotional rules that populate these promotional offerings with the correct assortments of products using detailed offer parameters provided by the Web Merchant team. Create promotional landing pages to support discount offers, coupons, special offers, free shipping promotions and other promotional vehicles as designed by the business users. Work closely with the eCommerce Creative team to ensure that all promotional images are loaded into Scene 7 in preparation for launch, and that all HTMLs are properly mapped with links. Accountable for weekly testing of all scheduled content each week for accuracy and timeliness.  Perform diagnosis of root cause for all documented testing problems, communicate required design updates, fix HTMLs for all production errors, follow up to ensure completion and retest prior to go live. Support the content needs of outside business teams, including vendor documents, corporate press releases, special events, customer service documents, corporate policies and more.  Report status on weekly flow of Product content, including both product copy and image tasks.
